Hebrews 12 Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in.
I see many people start the Christian race strong and fast but don't Finish.
This is not a sprint or even like a marathon. I think it's like a 'tough mudder. 'Full of obstacles, hills, mud, and endurance.
In such a race, it's not about coming first but finishing. Instead of competing with your brother you are helping and cheering him on.
We need to get rid of offence, bitterness, and unforgiveness so we can run lightly. We need to be consistent and run with endurance daily. And above all fix our eyes on Jesus and don't quit.
Prayer:
Father Thank You that Jesus never quit on me but finished. Because Jesus You said it is finished I can finish. Help me not to be tangled up in stupid stuff but run the race. I chose to get up and run again. Help me to run with endurance and guts and overcome and finish in Jesus' Name Amen.
