You Are God's Masterpiece

Matt Richards

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. AMP

Masterpiece: a work of outstanding artistry, skill, or workmanship. When we are born again God calls us His workmanship or His artwork, from the Greek word poiēma. That's where we get the English word poem.

You are God's POEM.. You're not hard work, or a piece of work, you are God's work. A piece of art! A master piece. The Master's piece. You're not a write off, you're still being written. The bible says we are living epistles, we are books that are read by all around us. The beginning might have been a horror story, but the end is still being written and it's an adventure story, a romance, it has a Rocky style comeback where you get up after taking a beating and win. You are God's poem. And He is writing something beautiful about you to show off to everyone. The book is not finished yet, but the old is passed and everything is becoming new. A new chapter begins and this time with Jesus you succeed. He is the author and architect of your life and He is building something great. People around you might not see it but soon things will turn round and all will be clear. You are a masterpiece, a poem, God's handiwork there are great things ahead for you in Christ Jesus. I don't know what it looks like now but I do know if you give your life to Jesus He will make you brand new. Everything will change and He will reveal His beauty in you. Prayer:

Father thank You that I am not a mistake but your handiwork. Thank You that even if I might not be complete you are making something beautiful out of my life. Make everything new that I might show Your Glory today in Jesus' name, Amen.
