Who You Serving Up? (Part 2)

Matt Richards

Joshua 24:15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

You know we live in a fickle world. Everybody says they're a Christian and they want God, but their actions don't match up, coz the next minute they are wanting and serving everything else.

In this shallow expression of Christianity, I choose authentic radical living and serving Jesus.

As far as my house, my life: I choose to serve Jesus. As for my family I choose us to serve Jesus, as for our fellowship I choose to serve Jesus.

It's a choice, and as a gate keeper and shepherd of all these, I make the choice to put Jesus first.

I believe in family salvation and I am determined that my house will serve the Lord.

I can't decide for anyone else's family, but my family will serve the Lord.

God doesn't serve us personally or corporately (like a genie granting us three wishes.) But we are called to serve Him.

It's all a choice. Your life, your family, your church. Choose to serve God.

Prayer:

Father I make the decision to serve You. Forgive me for making it all about me. As an individual, as a family, as a fellowship I choose to serve You.

Help me to know Your voice today so I can listen and obey, in Jesus' Name Amen.
