We Are family, My Brothers And My sisters And Me

Matt Richards

Psalm 68:5 A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows is God in His holy habitation. God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

This is one of my favourite passages in the bible. Church is not about a building or a service alone; but it's family. If you haven't got a mum and dad then in church you have. In church you have brothers and sisters as well. How beautiful. You're not called to be a loner, but you are placed, planted, chosen to be in family. We need each other. We might have arguments, be a bit crazy, be young or old, no matter the colour or background, in Jesus we are family. Prayer:

Forgive me for thinking I can do it all alone. Thank You for my brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers in Christ. Thank You for my Christian Family. Help me to be a father or mother to many in Jesus' Name, Amen.
