Acts 27:33-37 "Just as day was dawning, Paul urged everyone to eat. “You have been in constant suspense and you haven’t touched food for two weeks,” he said. “Please eat something now for your own good. For not a hair of your heads will perish.” Then he took some bread, gave thanks to God before them all, and broke off a piece and ate it. Then everyone was encouraged and began to eat— all 276 of us who were on board."
Paul and the 276 crew members had been on board a ship during a massive storm. For two weeks they where in complete peril! But God sent and angel to Paul with a message saying, "You will stand trial before Caesar in Rome, and no one on board this ship will die." After encouraging the crew, they then broke bread and ate. And fear and tension was broken from the whole ship and their spirits were lifted! Praise God. You know, it's been quite a suspenseful two weeks, with lockdown and every thing else that's going on, but I believe the tide is changing. I personally have gone from a place of suspense to a place of peace. God still wants us to "stand before Caesar" as it were. He still has a plan and we still have a destination. This is not the end. It's a great time to take communion and trust God that not one hair will perish, which is good news if you are worried about going bald lol. Be encouraged, God will do great things! Prayer:
Father thank You that You still have a plan. Thank You that we don't have to live in a place of constant suspense but we can rest in Your promises today. Amen
