Acts 8:23 Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.
The liver is absolutely amazing. Without the liver we would be dead. The liver is a forgotten and unappreciated organ. It acts to get rid of toxins and poisons in our body. When the liver starts to be compromised we end up in big trouble. The poison cannot be processed and excreted and can result in us becoming toxic; even dying.
This toxin, this fluid is called bile/gall.
Simon the sorcerer was full of bile, full of bitterness. His intention was not for the church, but the intent of his own heart and purposes. He wanted to have the Holy Spirit power for his own gain.
For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in a bond forged by iniquity [to fetter souls]. (AMP)
No longer was his liver processing the poison inside but he was he was living in bitterness he was toxic. He was even intent to fetter souls. (Enslave others).
The only remedy for him was repentance.
You know 'gall', bitterness is a deadly thing. It can make you toxic and it can you become toxic to others.
Deal with any toxins, any bitterness TODAY. As the Holy Spirit Liver processes hurts sad pains, deal with them, forgive, and get rid of all hurt, but just don't be toxic.
Prayer:
Father I have become toxic, forgive me. I choose to forgive. Help me to process and get rid of hurts and pains today in Jesus' name amen.
