Jeremiah 50:33-34 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go.
Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon."
Often times it can seem that the enemy is holding so fast, and refusing to let go of what belongs to God's people.
I see and notice that many christians are oppressed, and many (if not all) have loved ones who are away from God in the clutches of Satan. And the kingdom of darkness is holding so fast in these days, because time is short.
In our own strength, and with a human perspective, it seems impossible for anything to change...and it's easy to feel helpless as though you don't even know what or how to pray for certain situations; And you feel like you're alone.
I want to encourage somebody today and just say that you are not ALONE and all is not lost. There is good news! We have a Mighty Reeemer, who fights our corner and has destroyed the works of darkness. His name is Jesus! And even though we are weak, HE IS STRONG.
And our adversary can only hold on for so long.
Don't give up, the breakthrough is coming.
Fix your eyes on Jesus again, let Him lift up your head fill you with courage again!
Whatever it is that's being held captive, whether it's a loved one who's away from God or a certain breakthrough needed, let your faith arise and remember that God can do this.
Prayer:
Thank You Lord that our redeemed is STRONG. Thank You for redeeming my life and my family. Thank You for redeeming my finances, and my health, and snatching all this from the hands of the oppressor! In Jesus' name Amen.
