Proverbs 16:3-4 Commit your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. The Lord has made everything [to accommodate itself and contribute] to its own end and His own purpose—even the wicked [are fitted for their role] for the day of calamity and evil.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Here's the thing, God never brings disaster, or betrayal, or bad stuff to us. But know this: God will use bad stuff and bad people that come against us to work together for good. Often for His good, His plans, often for our good.
Even people that have turned against us the bible says here. Even the wicked are fitted for their role, their purpose. They play their part even if they don't plan to.
The devil thought he was so successful in recruiting Judas, so successful in crucifying Jesus. But really it was all for our good.
There's bad stuff happening to you right now and maybe there is even those who are turning against you.
But God can even make this bad stuff, and these people be part of your purpose and destiny, for His Glory. They play a crucial role in your story.
I am glad for every trial, every betrayal, every lie and enemy that's come against me, that has driven me to my knees. Has forced me to trust Him. Has even averted me from disaster.
The good, the bad, and the ugly they all have a part to play in bringing about His purposes for you.
So commit your work upon the Lord today for He cares for you and you will be established and succeed.
Prayer:
Father in all this craziness of covid I thank You. You are building Your church. I commit my plans to You today. Thank You for working, establishing me and working it all out for good in Jesus' name amen.
