How Sow?

Psalm 126:5,6 They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing. He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing] shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Got this email today. Just spoke to me.

'Sow seeds for 2019.' (fb memory)

You know each year without fail I forget to plant my bulbs in Oct/Nov. I remember in spring when I see daffodils and the such like flower (in other people's gardens)

Prayer is like seeds. When we pray we are sowing seeds. (When we tell people about Jesus we are also sowing seeds.)

In this period of January sow seeds of prayer that will spring up later in the year.

Sow in tears, in compassion, in intercession, and later reap in joy.

New Year, New Garden, what are you sowing?

Prayer:

Father I choose to tidy up and clear out the garden of my life. I choose to sow in tears and in prayer. I choose to sow the seeds for 2020. Thank You for a harvest that's coming like never before in Jesus' Name, Amen.
