Luke 10:38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching.
Jesus entered the village and Martha greeted and welcomed him into her house. But Mary her sister sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. MSG says she was 'hanging on every word He said.' You know I love serving the Lord like Martha, being busy in ministry and stuff. But there's a better portion, a better part. That is to sit down at Jesus feet. To hear His voice and to hang on every Word He speaks. I don't ever want to be so busy in organising, managing, pastoring that I can't sit down with Jesus and listen. There's no better place to be than at Jesus feet listening to His voice. When in the busyness of life did you last sit down and listen to Jesus? This is my desire.. Prayer:
Father forgive me for being so busy in life. I choose today to sit down and listen to You. I choose the better part in Jesus' name, Amen.
