She Is Not Dead..But Sleeping

Matt Richards

Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.

Love this Word, reminded me of a revelation Andrew Murray had for our church a few years ago (so powerful).

We miss the 'Mighty Murray.'

At times things seem like they are dead, that they are finished. And some things have to die like the flesh and appear completely lifeless. But don't be afraid; only believe.

Even if the world and others around you are saying it's dead, the church is dead, it's over and laughing at you; know today it's only sleeping.

Sometimes, as Gypsy Lee used to say, "you've got to get all unbelief out of the room" and pray. Those weeping and mourning, and consoling you are not helping you get them out: and pray and believe. Surround yourself with people of faith.

Then the body came back to life. Know today your dreams, visions, ministry are awakening. Stop mourning over the past and wake up and live.

The Sleeping Beauty, the Remnant, the Bride of Christ; His Church, is waking up and ushering in His return.

An awakening is happening right now in me and in Radical: All Glory to God. She's not dead.. she's only been sleeping.

Prayer:

Father thank You that when everyone sees death, you see life. Thank You, You turn our mourning into dancing.

When You step into the room everything changes. Thank You that it's not over, but just beginning. We choose to put all unbelief out of the room, not fear but believe. Thank You for the awakening now in Jesus' Name Amen.
