Roots and Fruits

Matt Richards

(From this day 2014)

2 Kings 19:30 And the remnant that has survived of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.

Orphans become nomads and wander from church to church or even worse feel too spiritual to go anywhere.

They therefore don't produce any fruit.

Have you ever talked to someone who has the right Theology, but looking at their life they are accomplishing nothing for the kingdom. It's all talk.

I have spoken to lots of them, who are professionals at telling me how theoretically to grow fruit, but are amateurs practically as they have grown nothing.

We are meant to be planted in soil of family and fellowship. That's where we will thrive. You have to be planted, you have to have roots to bear fruits. Even the faithful remnant took roots again. Maybe it's time you were planted again.

Prayer:

Forgive me Lord for being uncommitted and hyper spiritual and doing nothing. Plant me in the church family You want me in so my roots go deep and I bear fruit for you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
