No Man Is An Island: Community Church

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 

No man is an island. We were made for fellowship with God and each other. No matter how spiritual you are, and how corrupt you feel the church is, the bible says if we walk in the light (His Word), then we will have fellowship with each other.

Don't let anybody tell you not to have fellowship. You need it, I need it. We need each other. The more we love God, the more we love each other; the two go hand in hand. You were made for fellowship. You were made for family.

There is much damage caused by community, but likewise much healing comes through community.

The very thing that damaged you is the very thing that you need to bring healing (when done properly).

We are moving into authentic times when the church transitions from a theatre style to one of community and love.

Where's your community? Where's your spiritual family? Don't be an island.

Prayer:

Father forgive me for being so spiritual, so independent that I don't have relationship with anyone. Help me to love You and my brothers and sisters. Plant me in community and family that we might bear fruit together in Jesus' Name, Amen.
