Joshua 7:11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
This verse jumped out at me today.
You know the people of God often perish because of lack of knowledge.
Bible says that we are under a curse if we allow anything cursed into our homes (Deuteronomy 7:26).
For many people it's easy to allow horror films, occultic games, or heavy rock music for example into our homes without thinking.
It's also easy take in jewellery with occultic signs, idols, masks, or dragons from other nations as ornaments.
People think they are harmless not knowing they are opening a door to the demonic.
Many years ago Holy Spirit showed me I had to burn a large painting I had bought in Bali. It was worth a lot of money and I was gutted. But, I did it. It's just not worth the risk.
We have in church had many burnings of buddhas, tarot cards, music, Dvds, even some demonic play station games.
Have you got anything in your house that's inviting the demonic?

Prayer:
Father I don't want anything evil or representing evil in my home. Holy Spirit show me if there is anything I need to remove today in Jesus' name, Amen.
