Matt Richards
Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
There is Hope for you. That's why God is having you read this now. The Message version says: 'He won't brush aside the bruised and the hurt and he won't disregard the small and insignificant'.
Maybe you feel battered and bruised, small and insignificant. God won't brush you aside or break you. Maybe you feel you've lost the fire for God you once had. He won't extinguish you or disregard you but blow His life into you again.
The fact you are reading this shows me there is some hope and there is some smoke.
I have an open fire and sometimes I've seen it go right down to next to nothing. As I've created a vacuum and blown on it I have seen the smoke turn to flames. As easy as that.
God loves smokers. Let the Lord blow on the smoke of your heart and turn your smoke to flames of passion for Him once again.
"Don't let our love grow cold, I'm calling out light the fire again".
Prayer:
Father I have let the fire go out forgive me. Thank You that You don't brush me aside, quench me, despise me, or disregard me, but you put things right and blow life into my smoke. Light the fire again, let me burn with Holy passion right now in Jesus' Name Amen.
