John 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [aspresenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.
We didn't find Jesus, He found us. We are chosen. You might have not been picked in the line up to play football. You might have been the last person left when they chose teams at school. "No, you have him/her." But things are different, you are now chosen. You are head-hunted, wanted, recruited, pursued. God almighty wants you on His team and He picks you. You are planted, appointed, positioned to bear fruit. That's not to be put in the freezer and be the frozen chosen but appointed to bear fruit. To reproduce of same kind. To lead people to Jesus. To be like Jesus. You might be preserved in the deep freeze but you won't bear fruit.
Want to bear fruit for Jesus? Make sure you're planted. Make sure...He plants you. Then fruit just happens. Prayer:
Father thank You that You chose me. Wow! With all my faults you chose me. Thank You You've appointed me and planted me to bear fruit. Let my life bring You much fruit in Jesus' Name Amen.
