2 Thessalonians 1:11,12 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
You know I heard a story long time ago where a minister was asked by the Holy Spirit to do a certain campaign and after some hesitancy he reluctantly said yes. Holy Spirit then said to him you weren't my first choice. (I think he was fifth) But the rest had said no. Oh to be obedient to the call. I don't want someone else doing what I have been called to do. You know God has an incredible destiny, an outstanding plan, and a unique call for your life. Don't miss it. Don't miss it because you were distracted. Don't miss it because you were too busy. Don't miss it because you let discouragement come in. Don't miss it because you went back to a life of sin and compromise. Instead ask God to help you, help you walk worthy of His calling for you. Don't get disqualified from the race, don't drop out of the race.
Don't let others knock you out of the race. It's your race. I pray that God will make you fit for purpose. Fit for your call. That you will fulfill your destiny, you will complete your assignment. The time is short. Jesus is recruiting people for His Kingdom plan. The time is now. Let my answer, your answer be yes. Here I am, use me, equip me, send me, and sustain me. Prayer:
Father forgive me for not responding to the call. Thank You for calling me. I choose to say yes to all You want for my life today in Jesus' name, Amen.
