Luke 16:10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?
You know as Christians we are called to be different. We are called to be people of integrity. Many years ago, before I was a pastor I was promised the use of a building by a Christian for a 'glory meeting' The event was organised and advertised; but the week of the event the landlord pulled the plug. I was devastated, a little angry, but this was truly a 'God thing' A 'God warning' of this persons lack of integrity. I had been in association and talks to do greater things with this person but after this i pulled away as I felt I couldn't trust them. To be honest, real honest this saved me copious amounts of time and money and was a Holy Spirit warning. Its good to watch people; I believe God watches people to see if they are faithful. Faithful in the small things. Often people want to be in ministry but don't want to put away the chairs. Be faithful in the little things. If you say you are going to do something, then follow through. Be faithful in your money, your time, your service. Be faithful when no one is watching. Be the one that turns up, that stays after everybody goes home. Be faithful in the little things. I am so, so grateful to all the unsung hero's that help in Radical and in my life. You are noticed and I appreciate you all. Prayer:
Father help me not to despise the day of small beginnings. Thank You Jesus for being faithful in the small things. Help me to be faithful in the little things and make a difference in this world in Jesus name amen.
