Luke 1:73-75 "The oath which He swore to our father Abraham: To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life."
When people are delivered from satan's power, and brought in to freedom, the next step is to serve God in righteousness and holiness. I think this is a huge key to keeping your breakthrough. I'm so blessed by what God is doing, and I can see it's growing and I can see that there's fruit of the gospel! The next step after getting saved is to serve God and be on fire for Him all the days of your life! That's christianity! Get stuck in, free of fear, free from sin, clean and pure and full of joy! That's a life worth living! In Exodus, when the Israelites where delivered from the hand of the Egyptians, God totally set them free, totally liberated them! Split red sea and drowned Pharaoh's army. But they then failed to serve God in righteousness and holiness, even in the desert. They turned back to their old ways and worshiped false gods, and they failed to enter in to what God really had for them. But here now we have chance to live in holiness and righteousness and serve God to the fullness that He has called us to! So let's take hold of this! Serve God, get stuck in! It's in the serving that growth and spiritual development and character comes! So serve. Love others and look for ways to be a blessing! Make an effort to share words of encouragement and pray for each other, look for opportunities to work, don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Finally, in everything you do and say, do it as if you were doing it for God Himself. That's what it means to serve! God blesses that kind of service! Prayer:
Father thank You I'm saved to serve. I've been delivered, so that I can be a blessing and get stuck in. Thank You that I can live a holy life full of blessings! I choose to serve You! In Jesus' name, Amen.
