Come Up Higher

Luke 14:10 But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you.

For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

You know when we humble ourselves, God exalts us. When we get low, God lifts us up.

We don't have to big ourselves up, we have to big up Jesus. We don't have to self promote, God knows what you are going through and we don't have to tell everyone.

But in all that I hear the Holy Ghost say "come up higher".

Higher than the troubles, higher than the persecution and strife come up higher.

There's time God comes down to our level and thank God for those times. But right now I hear Him saying, "hey come up higher with Me."

You can see things from a better perspective higher.

Some nasty crawling bugs can't get you higher.

Problems seem so small and insignificant when higher.

There's an invite to just leave all that garbage behind and..

Come up higher

Prayer:

Father I humble myself before You. What man thinks doesn't matter. I hear Your call and I choose to come higher. Help me go ascend the hill of the Lord today help me to live in a higher rhelm in Jesus' Name, Amen.
