James 4:8 Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery]
You know following on from yesterdays devotional. In this time of social distancing you don't have to stay on social distance away from God. Many people at this time are cut off from loved ones, from family. But the only thing cutting you off from God right now...is you. That is your attitude, your sin. You know today you can run to God rather than run from him and know forgiveness and relationship today. The virus of sin does not have to separate you. Many people make excuses for not getting right with God. They put it off. They say they are not good enough etc. etc. Realise and recognise we are sinners and are separated from God. Do something about it today, the ball is in your court. You can get as close to God as you want. You can know cleansing, forgiveness, and consequently closeness and relationship to God today. Prayer:
Father I choose to draw near to You. I am aware I have done things wrong, I have sinned. Please forgive me wash me clean make me knew. I make a step towards You today in Jesus' name, Amen.
