Calling, Cleansing, Sending
Isaiah 6:6-8 "Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.” Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
I believe the church in this hour is being called, cleansed, and sent out once again into the harvest. It's a strange season where church buildings were closed and God's people left in limbo. But I believe God is releasing fresh fire from the altar and a fresh call from heaven saying, "Who will GO?" Christians need an encounter with God's Glory, just like Isaiah had here. Something about encountering God like this has a cleansing effect on the heart, and not just that, but when we encounter God, we get His heart for the lost and the broken. I can hear God's saying, "Will you go?" It's time to go out to the streets and run with the gospel of Christ. The towns, cities, and nations of this world are ripe for harvest! This is it! So, I believe God is sending the fire, cleansing His people and sending us out with power and the holy fire of the Gospel! Hallelujah! So it's time to stand up and be counted today! Lord set us on fire, refresh us in Your power and Your presence, let us burn with holy fire and send us to the nations! We say yes, yes, yes we will go! Prayer:
Here I am, Lord, Send me.
