Are You Simple?

2 Corinthians 11:3 But [now] I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from wholehearted and sincere and pure devotion to Christ. (Amp) And now I'm afraid that exactly as the Snake seduced Eve with his smooth patter, you are being lured away from the simple purity of your love for Christ.(Amp)

It's a simple Gospel. Sometimes we complicate things. Add things to it.

You know the whole point of the Gospel is to bring us back to God.

Bring us back so we can enjoy devotion, communion, fellowship with Him every day, and bring Him Glory.

That's really all it's about. We respond to a simple Gospel of repent and believe in Jesus finished work on the cross, and then we continue daily devotion to Him.

You know many Christian's face all sorts of avoidable problems. If they would only spend time with Jesus in devotion every day.

Do you have a daily devotional with the Lord.

Maybe you used to get up early and spend time with Him and through the busyness of life you've let it slip.

Can I encourage you to set aside time each day to spent time with Jesus, read your bible, pray, listen, and worship.

It's the one habit that will make the most difference in your life this year.

Are you simple?

Have a simple, pure love for Jesus that flows out of a daily devotional.

It's the simple uncomplicated, even basic things that make all the difference.

You can do this.

Prayer:

Father I have complicated things I want to be simple. Holy spirit help me to have a simple, pure love for Jesus and set aside time each day to be with Him in Jesus' name, Amen.
