Guardian Of Our Souls

Aiden Matthams

1 Peter 2:24-25 "He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls."

I want to firstly say, in light of every thing that's been happening in the nations, that the finished work of Jesus Christ is enough.

The cross is enough.

He carried our sins so we can be forgiven and live righteous lives, and by His wounds, we were (past tense), are (present tense) and continue to be (future tense) healed.

There's power in the cross, and power in the blood of Jesus. And there's nothing new on this earth that Christ has not already won the victory over.

And it's important to remember that He is the Guardian of our Souls. In a time of massive turmoil and fear that tries to take hold, we must remember that we have an anchor in the storm, a rock to stand on, a shield and a fortress, a hiding place, and a refuge in Jesus.

Let him be the Shepherd of your Soul. Not fear, not panic, not social media and news outlets, but Jesus. His promises are your armour and protection. Amen!

He will see us through this and not just that but bring victory and healing to the nations!

It's time to see what God can do!

So let's continue to pray and interceed for the nations and continue to turn to Him and entrust our souls in His hands.

Prayer:

Father we trust You! Thank You Jesus that You're the guardian of our souls! We turn to You, regardless of what's going on around us, we turn to You Lord, You can be trusted. We trust You Lord with our future, with our lives. We love You Lord. Amen
