Other words for 'steadfast' are: unwavering, constant, unchanging, determined, resolute, faithful, stubborn, unflinching, and single minded.
The Message calls us to 'stay the course.' Oh that we would be people that are resolute, determined, faithful, unwavering.
No matter what is thrown at us, we would be like Job, a people that are consistent, unflinching, that stay the course.
The apostles and men and women of old saw great revivals, miracles, signs, and wonders, but the next moment they saw persecution and prison.
Many of my heroes of faith like William Booth, Wesley were hated in their day and saw revival and riots. But in it all, whether good or bad they remained steadfast.
I don't want to be a 'fair weather Christian'. That's someone who follows Jesus when they feel like it, when it's trendy and everything is going good.
I want to be steadfast.
You know Jesus love for you and me is steadfast. It never changes. It's consistent, it's reliable, it's unwavering.
Jesus love for you is constant, faithful and firm.
If you are looking for something and someone that's constant, firmly fixed and steadfast look to Him today.
If you have walked away and been unfaithful, and missed the mark know that His love and mercy hasn't come to an end, it's there for you when you ask Him for it. Today.

Father thank You for your steadfast love for me that never changes. Forgive me for being inconsistent. Help me to be steadfast in my walk with You today, no matter what comes my way in Jesus' name, amen.
