Judges 16:18 When Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, “Come up again, for he has told me all his heart.” Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in their hands.
---- Samson chose the wrong women again, and consequently ended up in a mess again. But this time it would cost him his life. Delilah didn't love Him, but was after the reward the Philistines offered her to find the secret of his strength. She was just manipulating him to get information. She was worse than a gold digger. Message says' She kept at it day after day, nagging and tormenting him. Finally, he was fed up—he couldn't take another minute of it.' And he told her all his heart. The wrong relationship can end up with someone manipulating and wearing you out until you share personal, intimate things. Be careful who you share all your heart with. She wasn't interested in him to help him, but to hurt him. Get in the wrong relationship and the secret things you share; which should only be for a godly marriage can be eventually used against you. Be careful what you share, and who with. Not everyone will be genuine. Time after time people share very personal things with people they really shouldn't .They share their hearts.They then feel a bond to that person and get a soul tie They then get hurt, let down, feel betrayed and don't understand. The truth is that they should never been in the relationship in the first place, yet alone shared their heart. Be careful who you share intimate things with. Be careful who you choose to be your future husband/wife. Samson lost it all because he found someone pretty, but not Christian and after being nagged to death shared his heart. He suffered a heart attack. It resulted in loss of vision, loss of calling and his premature death. Serious stuff. This Christmas don't give your heart away to anybody they might just give it away. Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Prayer:
Father help me to be wise and guard my heart. Bring to me a godly man (or woman) that I might be married and share intimacy of heart. Heal the brokenness from betrayal in Jesus Name Amen.
