Matt Richards
Hebrews 12:12 Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.
You know some people (Chiropractors?) specialise in re-aligning bones, which in turn straightened people up and helps them function as they should.
Good posture and alignment can make all the difference.
You know as Christian's, it is easy to be discouraged. Easy to be going through stuff that can cause wounds and even to become disabled spiritually.
But when you have been spiritually beaten up. When your feeling weak, be real careful. Don't stay down. Don't continue to walk with discomfort.
If you don't change your posture, you could be in danger of having your life out of joint completely and unable to walk as a Christian at all.
Sometimes you've just got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. Change what you are doing and praise your way through. You've got to lift your hands up and pray, and praise even if you don't feel like it.
So many dislocated, disjointed Christians that are now lame; that cannot walk properly because they wouldn't adjust.
Self-pity will not help you friend. Me saying, "you poor thing it's not fair" will not help you at all. In fact, it could result in you totally incapacitated.
But I'm encouraging you today to lift your own drooping hands, and to praise; strengthen your knees and pray.
Come on get up, get up..praise get down and pray.
Then your healing with break forth like rain.
Prayer:
Father forgive me for feeling sorry for myself. I choose to pray and praise today. In lifting my hands I thank You that You heal me. I choose to focus on You today, thank You for strength and healing in Jesus' Name amen.
